Leaping into the Unknown

How many times have you day dreamed of living the life you want? How many of your choices are really truly your own? Are you exercising your free will? These are all the questions I was constantly asking myself over the last few years. Most of my life, I’ve done what was expected of me. And over the last year, every thing inside of me has been pushing me not only to be my best self, but to also live my life in the best way I can. Slowly, I’ve been cleansing my life externally and have also released many things on a more personal level.

In 2016, I started toying with the idea of Diamonds and Macs. A place in which I would express my creative self, and also document a lot of the transitions happening in my life. A place in which I would encourage self-love and my desire to leap into the unknown. Of course, life got in the way, and to be honest, I didn’t know how much of myself I was willing to put out into the world. While living in Paris years ago, anytime I would feel sad, anxious, lonely or isolated, I would put all my energy into searching for macarons around the city. It lead me to wonderful places and I met wonderful people. I started thinking of what was something I did that brought me happiness. Searching for macarons was part of the top 10 in my list. I remembered feeling empowered, confident and supported by the universe whenever I was walking around determined to get to the next macaron shop.

Now, as I continue to redefine my life, my career, and the love I have for myself, I welcome you to go along for the journey. I promise to keep it honest, raw, and full of tasty macarons.
